Chapter Nine

With that promise settled between them, Raphael couldn’t wait for the evening to end fast enough.

He bid goodbye to his parents in spite of the fact that the party wasn’t over. He told the vice presidents and the other people managing the party that he had to leave a little earlier than intended, all because of the little promise Caden had made.

I plan on letting you do more than kiss me once this party is over.

Caden’s words echoed in Raphael’s mind like a siren’s call. Fuck, he’d tried so hard to keep an erection from growing, but now that they were in the privacy of their home, he could focus on ripping the clothes off his lover and enjoying the rest of the evening.

Thoughts of that troublesome event back at the party – and the man who instigated it – were immediately pulled out of his mind. Raphael didn’t want to think about that now. He didn’t want to kill his arousal, and Alfred Masterson was sure to do that for him. Too much history.

As soon as they reached the apartment, Raphael only waited until they found themselves in the bedroom, and away from prying eyes. He pushed Caden down onto the bed and kissed him, right then and there.

“Excited, are we—mm,” the smart aleck comment from Caden was stifled immediately. Raphael beamed against Caden’s lips, his hands grabbing the lapel of his lover’s suit firmly.

Raphael immediately pushed his tongue into Caden’s mouth, making good and sure he explored every little nook and cranny of the warm, wet mouth. It only took a few seconds for Caden to respond, his own tongue gliding against Raphael’s like a sweet little treat.

That was a bit literal, Caden’s mouth tasted sweet at the time, but perhaps this time more from all the non-alcoholic cocktails he’d been drinking. His tongue had the sweetness of juice coating him, along with a taste that was distinctly Caden. Raphael could get lost in their kiss, but he had been promised more than just a simple locking of lips, and so he yearned for more.

Caden sobbed in pleasure, his arms coming up to wrap around Raphael’s neck. Pulling away, he moved his hands down slowly, tugging at his clothes as he went along. Raphael tried his best to maintain a kiss while fumbling with his buttons, before ultimately grunting and ripping his shirt and throwing it back.

Hey, it was only a couple thousand dollars. That amount of money was chump change to him. Having skin-on-skin contact with Caden was much more important, especially when he considered he had a number of the same suits and shirts in his closet.

Caden, in contrast to Raphael, was careful enough not to destroy his shirt as he expertly and hurriedly unbuttoned it, pulling the fabric to either side and revealing his smooth, hairless chest underneath. Raphael looked down and smirked. Caden had the pinkest nipples, and it made Raphael want to lick and kiss them.

Which he did, softly nipping at the little buds and causing the man underneath him to squirm and gasp.
